why take reiki level 1.5?
This immersive one-day training is designed for practitioners who feel called to go further on their spiritual journey. Whether you’ve been practicing self-Reiki for a while or are fresh out of Level I, this training provides the next step to expand your understanding, deepen your practice, and open new doorways into the spiritual dimensions of Reiki.
Over the years, I’ve watched so many students move through Level I and jump straight into Level II out of a desire to go deeper. Some have the desire to practice on others, and others simply crave spiritual expansion and it seems like the next natural step. However, something I have noticed is that if we move too quickly to practicing on others, we can miss some fundamental foundations that what make an incredible effective healer. If you begin practicing on others before your own life force is strong, before you've had your own transformative experience with energy healing, or before you've even felt a strong flow of energy when you channel, taking the next step too soon may diminish how profound your level II and III experiences can be.
What has made my mentorship style program so effective is that I prioritize integration of the practices and support students in really immersing themselves into what could be a deeply moving, life changing experience... that goes far beyond just taking a class and learning a skill.
As a Reiki Master Teacher of over 10 years, my personal growth and spiritual expansion has never stopped. Even seasoned practitioners reach moments where their personal self healing practice feels quieter, less alive, or harder to prioritize amidst the fullness of life. However, I know that it is possible for your spiritual journey to never feel stale or stagnant, and this is what I hope to inspire my students to pursue on their path as well. My clients and students often share that they end becoming someone they didn't even know they could be. The same has been true for my own journey, sometimes you have no idea how good it can get unless you keep going.
What Exactly is level 1.5?
Level 1.5 is not a traditional level in the standard Reiki Training. However, I saw a missing piece and decided to create it. This training is a great opportunity for practitioners who crave spiritual refinement, intuitive maturity, and advanced energy medicine tools—and also feel drawn toward inward mastery, embodied presence, and a more intimate relationship with energy.
This is not “more of Level I.” It’s a thoughtfully designed spiritual immersion to take your energy healing practice even further. With the foundations already in place, now we can take self healing to the next level with advanced energy medicine techniques that will expand your spiritual awareness and healing capacity.

This one-day immersion is hosted 4x per year at a private residence in Sorrento Valley, on a weekend day from 9:30am-6:30pm. No online course, no pre-immersion or post-immersion calls, no attunement, just one full day of deep spiritual diving. Just like all of the other trainings, it is limited to a small group to create an intimate, personal, and nurturing atmosphere.
Attendance of this training is a pre-requisite to Level II certification, unless you have taken Level I elsewhere. However, it is highly recommended for all students prior to attending Level II.
You are eligible for 3 different certifications in this program; Usui Reiki, Holy Fire Reiki, and Spiritual Energy Medicine. Attending Level 1.5 is not required for your Reiki certifications, however it is required for your certification in Spiritual Energy Medicine™️.
So let's break this down!
By attending my Level I Training, you will be certified as a Level I Usui Reiki Practitioner and only able to practice on yourself. If you attend the Level II Training, you will be certified as a Level II Usui Reiki and Holy Fire Professional Practitioner, and able to practice on yourself and others, including in a professional setting. If you attend Level III, you will be certified as a Usui Reiki Master and Holy Fire Reiki Master. If you attend all levels, including Level 1.5, you are eligible to receive your certification in Spiritual Energy Medicine™️ at no additional cost. The final assessment is much more strict and requires demonstration of strong proficiency in advanced level energy techniques, intuitive development, and integration of practices.
In a largely unregulated industry, the title "Reiki Practitioner" is becoming less substantial, as some programs allow you to become a Reiki Master in a one day online course. In what is becoming a very saturated market, having a title and certification that stands out can really set you apart from the masses. Holding the title of Usui Reiki Master, Holy Fire Reiki Master, and Certified Spiritual Energy Medicine™️ Practitioner holds more weight, and the education and experience you will have to stand behind your title will be worth even more.
